The product is a RAID controller that supports up to 8 SAS disks with additional cables. The controller can be used on any motherboard that has an x8 PCI Express slot. Drivers should not be a problem, and any current operating system should work. The cables can be plugged into the connections located on the left side of the heat sink, and then they exit the top side of the board. If someone wants to plug the HDD that is in RAID 1 into any computer to pull data, they may have to create a virtual drive with only RAID 1. There is no cable included, so users would have to buy them separately. It is not clear whether the product would interface with Windows 10 64bit, but it works through BIOS, and users can set up disks on the BIOS to have their RAID bootable. Generally, the responses to the customer's questions were useful and provided helpful information. However, some users had difficulty getting it set up on newer equipment, but this did not seem widespread. Overall, customers were satisfied with the product, and it would be a great buy for someone looking for a RAID controller.
