Pertronix Coils 45111 Editorial Review
Pertronix 45111 Flame-Thrower II Ignition Coil, 45,000 Volt 0.6 Ohm, 12 Volt, Black Epoxy offers impressive output, optimal for various performance builds, as illustrated by users with vintage vehicles like the Porsche 911 and pre-war LaSalle. Many appreciate the coil's efficacy in boosting ignition performance, noting a significant difference in voltage and power delivery compared to stock options. However, potential buyers should be cautious about its compatibility, specifically with Ignitor I modules; this coil is recommended only for Ignitor II and III systems due to the risk of overheating. Some feedback suggests it runs warm to the touch during operation, so ensure appropriate installation to avoid overheating issues.
