Answer: Whitetail institutes website sells specific herbicide for specific food plots. If you plant clover get something that doesn't kill broad leaf greens. They also have a 1800 # and they are always super helpful when I call about questions like this. -

Answer: Along with the evergreen forb, the seed blend includes hardy varieties of chicory and clover. -

If I were to topseed a clover chicory plot that has already grown, would this have much success?
Answer: Clover and chicory are broad leaf plants they will probably shade this too much. -

Does the soil have to be plowed prior to sowing seed?
Answer: Assuming correct Ph, Prior to new planting, I routinely spray with a roundup type product, then fertilize and disc 3-4 weeks later. I drag to smooth the bed than broadcast seed, you MAY lightly disc to get dirt and seed contact after seeding-but not required Jon. -
