The Bruder JCB is a detailed and realistically designed toy with interactive features that are very intriguing for young minds. The doors open and close, and the scoops, doctors, and sunroof are all moveable and detachable. The tires are thick and durable, and the steering wheel controls the tires. It is also reasonably priced, and its size is relative to the tonka dump truck, which was what most kids wanted. However, it is made entirely of plastic, and the joystick plastic is thin and prone to breaking. Some of the plastic fittings for the front and rear scoops are all loose, making the whole thing floppy and frustrating to play with. Additionally, it is not recommended for playful children because it can break quickly, and the rear backhoe arm's brackets are not durable for even light play in sand or loose dirt.
