It's easy to use, floats around in the tank, and even has air chambers to keep it afloat. However, there were mixed reviews relating to using it for birthing fry. Some reported having no luck getting females to birth in it, and others lost fry that fell through the slits on the sides. Some of the fish owners were able to modify the breeders to suit their needs better. Overall the product is beneficial and satisfies its primary purpose of raising fry. **
