- Add an electrified opening to a lane, paddock or pasture without building a rigid gate. The Gallagher Electric Bungee Gate Kit arrives preassembled and adjusts from approximately 11.5 to 23 feet, giving livestock managers one flexible solution for a range of gateway widths. The UV-resistant rubber cord stretches to twice its resting length, then retracts to help keep the opening clear when the handle is released from the anchor. Four stainless steel strands carry the fence pulse through the cord for consistent electrification when the gate is closed and connected correctly. A heavy-duty Pinlock Insulator provides a strong dead-end connection under tension. The included three-way gate anchor can support additional gate connections where the fence layout requires more than one direction. A bright handle is easy to locate and uses large shields to reduce accidental contact with the conductive connection during normal operation. This kit works well for on-and-off laneways, rotational grazing entries and other access points used by cattle, horses or mixed livestock. The gate must be connected to a compatible electric fence system.
