StewMac Nuts 6012-VS Editorial Review
In the realm of guitar upgrades and repairs, the StewMac Slotted Unbleached Bone Nut has garnered mixed reviews from customers. Many users commend the quality of the materials and appreciate the pre-slotted and radiused design, which simplifies the installation process. Guitarists find that these nuts often result in a smooth playing experience and can be polished to a high standard, making them visually appealing as well. However, the product has faced significant criticism regarding fit and Consistency. Instances where the string spacing did not align properly with certain guitar models, like the Gibson ES-335, have left customers frustrated, especially when these issues were discovered after minor modifications were made. This has led to a few customers finding parts unusable, with negative experiences affected by the inability to return products due to the modifications. On a positive note, customer service from StewMac has been praised, particularly in instances where issues arose—it was reported that StewMac was proactive in addressing complaints and offered refunds, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction. Nonetheless, quality control appears to be an area of concern, as some users reported inConsistencies in the bone quality across multiple purchased nuts. Overall, while the StewMac Slotted Unbleached Bone Nut is favored for its ease of use and final finish, potential buyers should Consider the possibility of inConsistencies in sizing and quality. **
