SMITH Optics Skyline XL Unisex Snow Goggle

**** The SMITH Skyline goggles in Fuschia Oversized Shapes have garnered a mix of responses from customers, highlighting several notable concerns regarding their design and functionality. Users have reported experiences marred by quality control issues, with numerous accounts citing defects such as sticky silicone on the straps, fogging lenses, and significant compatibility problems with ski helmets. Many customers were disappointed that the goggles fogged immediately upon use, impairing their ability to ski safely and forcing them to purchase alternative solutions at ski resorts. In addition to the product's performance flaws, customers expressed frustration over the design of the strap clip. The placement of the clip often interferes with helmet fastening, leading to potential safety issues while skiing and causing the goggles to twist uncomfortably. This design oversight has been a key complaint, as it detracts from the overall skiing experience and raises questions about whether these goggles were adequately tested with popular helmet styles. Furthermore, issues surrounding warranty claims have left a sour taste for some users. Reviewers noted that despite the advertised lifetime warranty, Smith's policy appeared to offer little support, instead providing coupons for future purchases rather than honoring warranty claims for defective products. Customers feel misled about the warranty's terms, adding to their dissatisfaction. Overall, while the SMITH Skyline goggles may appeal to those who prioritize style, their operational shortcomings—including fogging, poor design compatibility, durability concerns, and alleged customer service issues—create significant barriers to recommendation. Potential buyers should weigh these factors carefully before making a purchase. **
