EMG Distortion & Overdrive PA2 Editorial Review

EMG PA2 is a preamp booster that adds gain without taking anything away from the tone. This product is smaller than pot shafts and fits most guitars. Installation is easy and it allows easy adjustment of the boost. However, the gain might not be as much as users expect, especially if already on the dirty channel. The preamp booster warms up the sound and makes guitars sound more aggressive. EMG is usually top-notch products, but some users warn not to be too rough with it. The lever can snap off, and it might not fit some guitars, which is annoying.
