Nutritionist's Take
The Dr Clark Store Vitamin B6 Supplement provides a significant dosage of vitamin B6 at 230mg per capsule, which is considerably higher than the recommended daily allowance for most adults (1.3-2mg). Nutritionists acknowledge the importance of vitamin B6 for various bodily functions, including metabolism, nervous system health, and immune function. However, the high dosage raises concerns about potential toxicity if taken excessively over long periods. The gelatin capsules may not be suitable for vegans or vegetarians. It's essential to consider individual dietary needs and health status when evaluating this supplement. Overall, while it may serve specific cases of deficiency or certain health conditions, it is advisable to consult with a healthcare provider before starting high-dose vitamin B6 supplements to ensure safety and efficacy.
