Space Fleet Editorial Review
Knee-Deep in the Dead, a novel that takes readers on a journey filled with demons and other strange creatures, is a good book. It tells the story of two soldiers fighting to stay alive, encountering several obstacles along the way. The narration is clever and lively, but the plot is thin, with a focus on action scenes that resemble playing a video game. Though there are nods to similar games, the book would have been better if more backstory was provided.
