The MSD 8950 RPM Activated Switch is a versatile product that can be easily installed on a race car's firewall or floorboard. It does not need to be installed in the distributor. The switch has two wire options, yellow and gray, for different applications. It can be used with or without an MSD box, depending on the vehicle. The instructions provided only show compatibility with 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines, so it may not be suitable for a 10 cylinder vehicle.
