İçinde naftalin topakları boğuk bir sesle yuvarlandılar. Çıkardıklarım karmakarışık bir yığın halinde mutfak masasının üzerinde duruyordu. Bu, otuz altı yıl boyunca biriktirebildiklerimdi. Ülkemde geçirdiğim otuz altı yıllık ömrümün bir bilançosu. Gerçekten de hepsi bu mu? diye düşündüm. Ardından da, Evet, demek ki hepsi bu kadarmış. diye yanıtladım kendimi.
