Movies Editorial Review
Nostalgia Izione Regno Unito is a compelling film by director Andrei Tarkovsky that blends Italian and Russian cultures in an engaging narrative. The film's remarkable quality is highlighted in the reviews, particularly the serene meditative quality that resonates throughout, especially in the candle scene that provokes unique tensions. Viewers appreciate the improved sound quality from this version compared to previous editions, enhancing the cinematic experience. With its engaging storyline and depth, Nostalghia might not have received as much attention as Tarkovsky's earlier works, but it proves to be a significant part of his oeuvre.
